The fashion designer Michal Emma creates in Tel Aviv since 2005, has spent most of her childhood in her fathers’ fabric factory. After finishing her degree in economy and business management in the university of Jerusalem, she returned to the family textile business and was inspired by the unique fabrics to create her first garment.

Her interest in the different textures, the caressing touch and movement of the fabric, has led her to design her first collection. Living in Tel Aviv, Michal Emma draws her inspiration from the urban scenery, yet brings to her collections softness, a touch of nostalgia, and a restrained sex appeal.

In her designs Michal Emma creates a look with a strong presence. One that derives from the feminine force of the women wearing it, and not one that is necessarly seen in a low cleavage or a tight figure. And so , her designs are sexy and feminine while still allowing movement and comfortabilty.

העיסוק בטקסטורות שונות, המגע המלטף והתנועה של הבד, הם הקווים המנחים בעיצוביה. את השראתה שואבת מיכל אמה מהסביבה האורבאנית שבה היא פועלת, אך מביאה לקולקציות בעיצובה רוך, נגיעות נוסטלגיה וסקס אפיל מאופק.

בדגמיה יוצרת מיכל אמה מראה בעל נוכחות חזקה הנובע מהנשיות והכריזמה של מי שלובשת את הבגד, ולא כזו שבאה לידי ביטוי בהכרח במחשוף עמוק או בגזרה צמודה. ועל כן, הגזרות המאפיינות את עיצוביה מחמיאות לגוף הנשי ומאפשרות חופש תנועה ונוחות.
